Maharani Girls Engineering College, Jaipur, Rajasthan, was established in 2009 on National Highway 8 Near Mahindra World City, Ajmer Road Jaipur It is an affiliated college. Affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICT Faculty of Engineering and Technology was launched on its 5 acres campus and offers a range of engineering courses. The institute provides four programmes under the Bachelor of Technology such as Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, & Civil Engineering.

Maharani Girls Engineering College has many facilities to cater to student affairs and activities, group study and learning. An adequately furnished girls hostel features general accommodation facility featuring double and triple bed seater, facilities and furniture, and recreational area. Maharani Girls Engineering College in Jaipur (MGEC) is an established premier institution for good quality engineering education exclusively for girls. The college is affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education and is located on National Highway 8, Ajmer Road, Jaipur, just near Mahindra World City, Ajmer Road, Jaipur. MGEC is the sole source of admission for deserving students to pursue any of the various engineering programs offered at the college.

Admission usually runs on an academic basis, usually initiated in the July or August month. Eligibility for admission to any of the B.Tech programs from MGEC includes 10+2 pass or equivalent examinations done under any recognized board. Furthermore, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics should have been studied as compulsory subjects in the higher secondary education program.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: Maharani Girls' Engineering College offers B.Tech programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics, Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Admission to all B.Tech programs is the same. Candidates should have the pass certificate for 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. Admission is provided based on merit, keeping in consideration the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and relevant competitive entrance tests. The total 75 seats for admission under these four B.Tech programs and Computer Science and Engineering would be having the highest 30 seats.
