Maharshi Valmiki College of Education, Delhi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has a small medical room where a first-aid material is available. In case of emergency, due help can be sought from the medical practitioners around.

The college has a gym facility for all the students. The college Physical fitness equipment available to students during College hours.

The College Library has an excellent collection of books and non-book material in Philosophy of Education, Educational Psychology, History of Education, Pedagogy courses besides having a good collection of documents, reports and reading material on host of other areas.There is a separate collection of Reference Books, Pamphlets, and Bound volumes of Journals, Audio Cassettes, Compact Discs and Braille books. The library also has a good collection of Hindi medium books for students choosing Hindi as their medium of instruction, besides having the same for Pedagogy of Punjabi & Urdu.

The college has 60 networked computer units. Out of these 40 are available in computer lab. There are 6 computers in the library which can be used by the staff members and the students.  

The college has a canteen facility for all the students and staff.

The College seminar room with a seating capacity of nearly 100 persons is used for holding small group seminars and discussions. The seminar room is air-conditioned and appropriately furnished; and is also used for organizing student exhibitions and work sessions. The seminar room is also used as an extended class room when there arises need to hold joint sessions. Portable LCD and other IT equipment can be used for making presentations etc. in the seminar room.

The College has well-equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, and Educational Technology laboratories. There is also a provision of Art, Craft and Painting room in the College. Laboratories are meant to be learning spaces. Students are required to make proper use of them

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The College had helped its pass-outs in proceeding with the forming of their alumni association way back in 1997. Some of the meetings were held but more was needed to be done for the purpose. The College has now expeditiously taken up the process of reviving the alumni association and making it an actually vibrant platform of intellectual discourse and participation.

The college has the sports facilities for all students.
