One of the notable institutions is Mahatma Basaweshwar Education Society's College of Engineering, Ambajogai, set up in the year 1993. MBES COE, which started on more than 10 acres, presently has 1,093 students enrolled in its various streams of engineering programs. The faculty strength of 68 ensures an ideal student-to-teacher ratio.
