Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar (MCE) takes pride in being one of the leading self-financing first grade colleges in the area dedicated to imparting education for future teachers. Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar has 100 seats for B.Ed course. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Kannur University, Kannur. Admission is given to students based on NCTE for 50% seats and in the remaining 50% by the Management. Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.
