Mahatma Degree College, Prayagraj: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Mahatma Degree College is a government affiliated college set up in the year 2014. Situated at Prayagraj in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the campus is compact with a total area of 2.47 acres of land. In the present scenario, 537 students have been registered for the different programs offered in these institutions. These institutions were reviewed and accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which ensured quality as far as teacher education is concerned. With a faculty strength of 13 dedicated educators, Mahatma Degree College is poised to provide personalised attention to its students across 4 courses on offer in its three different degree programs which are specialised in arts, sciences, and teacher education. 

Mahatma Degree College comes with facilities that enrich the learning experience of its students. The core of these amenities lies in a well-stocked library with vast educational literature in terms of books and journals. The library is a fully automated one with an integrated interface, which offers services of the like of the Inter Library Educational Trust and newspaper clipping services. For those who are inclined towards sports and physical activities, the college provides indoor as well as outdoor facilities such as badminton and volley ball courts and organises various tournaments to promote this healthy competitive spirit. The institution also maintains well-equipped laboratories for practically undertaking its science programmes. 

Mahatma Degree College offers 4 full time courses in various streams. Other programmes include the BA, two B.Sc specializations offered. Zoology, Botany and Chemistry, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and the D.El.Ed programme. The D.El.Ed programme represents a pivot point in the teacher-education programmes offered by the college, which has an approved intake of 50 students.

The process applied during the admission exercise in Mahatma Degree College differs from course to course. The D.El.Ed program will have merit-based admissions, with respect to marks acquired in the qualifying examination and entrance examination as per the policy of the State Government/UT Administration.
