Candidate must be an Indian National

Non-resident Indians (NRI) are not eligible for any other seat except NRI quota seats in unaided private and Private Minority medical colleges, subject to fulfillment of NRI status and other relevant eligibility criteria. Non-resident Indians (NRI) are eligible only for a maximum 15% NRI Quota seats in the Unaided Private/Minority medical colleges.

Certificate of HSC/12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as “Indian” shall constitute the proof of nationality (Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Non-Resident Indians (NRI) / Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are not eligible).

The candidate should have obtained provisional or permanent registration either from the Dental Council of India Maharashtra State Dental Council (MSDC) or another state Dental Council.

A person with a disability (PWD) from the general category must secure a minimum of marks at the 45th percentile in NEET-MDS 2020.

The candidates who are domiciled in the State of Maharashtra and who have obtained admission under 15% All India Quota / AIIMS /Central Government Institutions for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course in the dental colleges situated outside the state of Maharashtra and who have obtained a degree from University situated outside the State of Maharashtra will also be eligible for the selection process of NEET-MDS 2020.

The candidate must be medically fit.

All Candidates desirous to take admission for MDS courses under state quota or Institutional quota must have appeared for NEET-MDS and declared eligible by the Competent Authority of NEET-MDS, Government of India, New Delhi
