The Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandirs Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hiray Law College was established in 1971. As a college affiliated with the BCI, the college is a prime institution for legal studies located in Malegaon, Maharashtra, It offers special legal education on a spacious 12.36-acre campus. The college has 5 faculty members and a total student enrolment of 288, providing an effective and focused learning space. 

It offers various facilities to improve and enhance the learning experience of the students. The college library, the citadel of legal learning, supplements its collection with over 500 volumes every year and is supported by a separate periodical section and E-Library under an open-access system. The Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandirs Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hiray Law College has also established a well-furnished Moot Court Hall that provides live court experiences to the future advocates, and students learn the art of advocacy under the full guidance of experienced city advocates. Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandirs Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hiray Law College provides two full-time courses. It provides a 3-year LLB full-time course and 1-year full-time Diploma in Taxation Law. Total intake of students in these full-time programmes is 180, that is, 120 for LLB and 60 for Diploma. The latter approach makes good class focus possible and hence maintains a good student–teacher ratio, ensuring good legal education.

Admissions at Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandirs Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hiray Law College are through an all-inclusive merit-based process. For the LL.B., applications are accepted from those who have passed their graduate-level exams from any discipline in any recognised institution since the programmes offered are LL.B. Similarly, the D.T.L. applications will be accepted only from those who have passed university graduate-level examinations from any discipline because the institution understands that prospective students might come from different disciplines toward pursuing law at the institution.
