Mahila Mahavidyalaya Mayurbhanj pronounced in 1981 is the women college in Rairangpur of Odisha. This affiliated institute aims at offering sound education to the female students in the region. Located on 47 Acres of land the college is providing the courses of undergraduate programs in Art and humanities. These include a general BA degree and four honors specializations: Political and Administrative science, Pre and Modern History, Economical, and Home science. A college level has been granted 320 number of intakes in these programmes combinedly . 

The general BA program thus takes the highest enrollment with 160 places, BA Political Science Honours and BA Home Science Honours each has 48 places, and BA History Honours and BA Economics Honours offer 32 places each. Electronic and communication engineering provide students with this diversified coverage of courses in order to enable them complete their academic goals within arts and social science faculties.
