Mahila Utkarsh Pratishthan’s College of Ayurved, Hospital and Research Centre at Washim was started its journey in 2007 at Pundlik Nagar, Degaon.Tq, Risod Dist., Washim, Maharashtra. This affiliated college is approved by the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) which provides training in Ayurvedic stream. Spread over a five-acre area, the institute is affiliated to Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur The institute currently has 281 student strength and 34 teachers.

Mahila Utkarsh Pratishthan’s College of Ayurved provides only one programme of Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) to favour extensive learning in the traditional system of Indian medicine. This institute has organised facilities to accommodate or supplement the regular learning environment and personal development of its learners. A knowledge centre in the form of a library and various departmental laboratories is used to give practical knowledge about different facets of the Ayurvedic system of medicine. To cover the aspect of physical health, the college provides an extensive enclosed play area for various games as well as for outdoor sports and has occasions for students to perform in the different competencies of inter–college, state and district levels. A modern gymnasium has also been provided for people interested in exercise. To cater for the needs of out-station students the campus has a separate hostel for boys and girls which ensures the comfort to its residents. An auditorium is used for the convening of events and seminars and is used to promote academic and cultural development. The college also provides some basic amenities such as; first aid facilities through a health centre that contains provision for first aid; feeding through a canteen where food is sold to students and staff; and accommodation for guests through the guest house where staff and faculties’ satisfaction by providing them a place to take their families or guests. To cope with the technological developments, the institute has put up good IT facilities.

The Ayurved College under Mahila Utkarsh Pratishthan proposes a single course, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), a full-time programme of six years.
