Mahila Utkarsh Pratishthan’s College of Ayurved, Hospital and Research Centre at Washim was started its journey in 2007 at Pundlik Nagar, Degaon.Tq, Risod Dist., Washim, Maharashtra. This affiliated college is approved by the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) which provides trainings in Ayurvedic stream. Spread over a five acre area, the institute is affiliated to Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur The institute currently has 281 student strength and 34 teachers.

This college provides only one program of Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) to favor extensive learning in traditional system of Indian medicine. This institute has organized facilities to accommodate or supplement the regular learning environment and personal development of its learners. A knowledge centre in the form of a library and various departmental laboratories are used to give practical knowledge about different facets of Ayurvedic system of medicine. The Ayurved College under Mahila Utkarsh Pratishthan proposes a single course, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), a full time program of six years. The institute is allowed 60 new intakes for this course to train students who are interested in Ayurvedic medicine profession.
