Mahila Utkarsh Pratishthan’s College of Ayurved, Hospital and Research Centre at Washim was started its journey in 2007 at Pundlik Nagar, Degaon.Tq, Risod Dist., Washim, Maharashtra. This affiliated college is approved by the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) which provides training in Ayurvedic stream. Spread over a five-acre area, the institute is affiliated to Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur The institute currently has 281 student strength and 34 teachers.
Mahila Utkarsh Pratishthan’s College of Ayurved provides only one programme of Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) to favour extensive learning in the traditional system of Indian medicine. This institute has organised facilities to accommodate or supplement the regular learning environment and personal development of its learners. A knowledge centre in the form of a library and various departmental laboratories is used to give practical knowledge about different facets of the Ayurvedic system of medicine.
