B.A. Program: Mahishadal Raj College has thirteen specializations in B.A. programs which includes English, Bengali, History, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Political Science, Education, Sociology and Music. The total capacity for the B.A. programmes is 169 seats. Candidates should have passed their 10+2 with relevant subjects for admission eligibility.

B.Sc. Programs: There are 12 specializations provided by the college under B.Sc., which includes Mathematics, Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry, Geography, Zoology, Physics, Computer Science, Nutrition, Botany, Geology, Physiology and Economics. The total number of seats offered under B.Sc. programs amounts to 124. The eligibility criteria are 10+2 passed in science subjects.

B.Com. Program: This B.Com. Accountancy (Hons) specialization with Research offers 164 seats. The candidate has to pass out 10+2 with commerce or relevant subjects.

BCA Program: The Bachelor of Computer Applications (Hons) with Research program has 60 available seats. Eligibility includes 10+2 with mathematics or computer science.

B.Voc. Programs: The university has provided various undergraduate vocational training programs under B.Voc. Five specializations are offered in B.Voc. namely Health Care, Automobile, Medical Laboratory Technology, Retail Management and Operations and Hospitality Management. Total intake in B.Voc. programs is 85 seats.

M.A., M.Sc., and M.Com. Programs: The university also runs postgraduate programs in many subjects. Admission to these programs depends upon the merit of the candidate's undergraduate degree and may also include an entrance test or interview.
