Mahrshi Shandilya Prashikshan Sansthan Jagdishpur set up in 2014 located in Amethi - Uttar Pradesh is a running educational institute. Located in just 0.632 acres of land, this institute is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). This college provides three unique degree programs for a total of 83 students enrolled in the college. The faculty strength of the institute is 15 dedicated educators; the institute has maintained a student-teacher ratio is favorable. Mahrshi Shandilya Prashikshan Sansthan is focused on education, especially in the teaching field, and arts: It offers full-time B.E.d., D.E.L.E.d., and B.A. degrees for students who wish to enter this field and work in this sector. 

It has variety of facilities with specific aim to develop the learning environment for learners in the institute. A library with an assured number of books contains approximately seven hundred and three thousand four hundred and eighty five total books not to mention magazine and daily newspaper subscriptions. The library is completely computerized with Library Management Software ‘LMS’ LibSys version 7 and use Radio Frequency identification ‘RFID’ for management. The campus has 20 large circular sectionalized teaching halls incorporated with audio-visual instructional facilities which help towards the facilitation of active discourse and personalized study. To provide practical experience, the institute has developed several laboratory for Educational Technology, Language, Psychology, and Computer labs for students. 

In over all, Maharshi Shandilya Prashikshan Sansthan proffer three full courses of one-year duration in various fields of study. The programme B.Ed, which constitutes the mainstay of the institute’s programme list, was admitted to 100 and will have a span of two years. The D.El.Ed course also covers two years and is able to admit 50 students. Also, there is a three years BA open by the institute but it is not clear which year the institute takes the students for this course. In all, the institute has the capacity to admit 150 students in the B.ED and D.EL/ED programmes as well as more seats in the B.A course. 

Admission procedures of Mahrshi Shandilya Prashikshan Sansthan are that institution offers admission on merit basis, as per the marks scored in respective examinations or entrance test. For the B. Ed and D. El. Ed courses admission processes are held as per the norms set by the state government, UT administration and the university affiliated to the Nilai Group. The institute has a rigorous admission process to enrol deserving candidates to enable them follow through their desired courses. It also has a clinic where simplest of ailments can be treated and there are consultants who make visits to the institute. These facilities in addition to quality academic programmes offered by the institute provides a suitable learning climate and preparation that empowers a student to develop as an individual and for the profession in view within the area of specialisation, which is education and related disciplines.
