MAJ Government College, Deeg, which was started in 1977, is situated near the Bus Stand at Deeg district of Rajasthan. As an affiliated college established on seven acres of campus area, this college has been educating the population of this area for more than forty years. The college is member of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) which means that it follows quality standards of education. Spread over 462 acres of land, in curricular and co-curricular facilities, MAJ Government College provides varied undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Commerce & Science with a strength of 2634 students and 11 faculty members.

MAJ Government College has made available facilities that would justify the learning process as well as the growth of the learners. An adequate equipped library is an informative centre, which offers students various types of studying materials. Additional to the above faculties, for those with interest in sport and athletics, the college has well equipped sports facilities. It also lays emphasis on technological outlook in all respects having latest information technology infrastructure inside the premise, so as to groom the students for the technological world. Professional laboratories help students to apply the knowledge to practical assignments, and the first aid health care centre responds to students’ and teachers’ needs. MAJ Government College, Deeg, provides only six full-time courses and comprises of four degrees. Such programs are three years and they include Bachelor of Arts (BA,) Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com,) Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with majors in Mathematics, Biology. At postgraduate level, the college provide two years full time course of study,  Master of Arts (MA) in Geography. Each course enabling students to gain basic knowledge about chosen disciplines which is useful for further education or work. The total student intake capacity is 2634, a figure that shows just how influential this college is to higher education in the area.

The college offers admission to all its undergraduate and postgraduate courses for which it invites application mostly after the affiliating university’s calendar year.
