Majha College for Women, Tarn Taran, Punjab came into existence in 2009 and is an affiliated college. Located inTarn Taran-Aladinpur Bypass Chowk, it is a women’s college which offers general education in plethora of fields. The college occupies a 5-acre campus and as of now the college has 360 students enroled. The college has 32 members of faculty right now and due to moderate student population, the college also provides quality interaction between student and teacher. The offered 12 courses in 9 degree programmes of Majha College for Women provide the students with a versatile academic and professional experience.

The university provides all kinds of programmes in undergraduate levels as well as postgraduate levels for women. They are B.A., B.Sc (Economics, Computer Science, Non-Medical), B.Com, M.A. in Punjabi and other professional courses in B.B.A, B.C.A & P.G.D.C.A. The college also has some more specialised programmes such as B.Sc in Fashion Designing etc., which is designed that is in response with new career developments and the college also has Diploma in Cosmetology course. All the programmes are on full-time basis thus preparing the students to adequate, broad and specialised knowledge in their areas of specialisation.
