Majlis Arts and Science College, Puramannur was started in 1995 which is an affiliated college at Malappuram of Kerala. This is the institution that is physically located in a 25-acre campus and presently, the college provides 23 kinds of courses in 8 programs of study. Student enrollment at the college level is 2,059 while the total faculty at the college level is 96 this makes the colleges to provide a conducive atmosphere for learning. NAAC accredited, Majlis Arts and Science College has created its own identity in providing Arts, Science, Commerce education.

They include; The college has a number of reclaimers and a host of other modern facilities that supports it activities. A resourceful and up-to-date library is industrial and academic source centre, containing a large stock of books, periodical, journals etc, on various disciplines. The college offers various facilities for the beloved of sport and for the individuals interested in physical fitness and sports. Good information technology is also used by the institution to support students to improve their technological knowledge through offering them the latest technology in the respective fields. An on campus cafeteria exists to feed the students and workers the meals They provide, seminars, workshops and conferences are held in the auditorium and audiovisual room. For those female students who are in need of a place to stay there is a women only hostel within the school compound. The college also provides well-equipped laboratories to facilitate practical learning mainly associated with science programs though the college conforms with the general university guidelines.

Majlis offers a wide variety of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels to cater the needs of student community. An academic portfolio of the institution comprises of 14 undergraduate and 7 postgraduate courses, which are all full time. Some of the college’s courses include English, Business Administration, Commerce, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Microbiology, Mass Communication, Journalism, Sociology, Multimedia and Visual Communication.
