Makrana Teacher’s Training College was set up in 2008 and is an affiliated college of Makrana, Rajasthan. It is a co-educational institution having a motto of imparting quality teacher education and is recognised by NCTE the National Council for Teacher Education. The college is located on a small piece of land measuring 0.7999 acres and provides niche learning to those interested in the teaching profession. The college admits a total of 123 students along with a faculty of 16, so the student teachers ratio is optimum and an essential need of any college.

Makrana Teacher’s Training College's infrastructural facilities include formation of colleges, postgraduate studies, lecture theaters, computer laboratories, library and libraries, sports complex, cafeteria, health centre, counselling centre, homes of residence, land for development and others. The library with good number of books is an important academic facility as students need different materials to conduct their research. The college also has departmental laboratories to facilitate practical learning and to give the students a practical touch. 

An auditorium of this kind organises and hosts several functions and seminars for making sure that a rich academic environment. Thus, to improve students’ comfort, the campus also provides a cafeteria for refreshment and communication. The teaching in college is highly up to date as it has well-developed IT facilities, making the students of the college fit for the modern world. For recreation, playgrounds and courts used in various sporting activities to allow the children balanced education. In addition, there is also guest house for faculties and student’s families, a health centre with first aid for college members and gym for fists and healthy students.

The programmes that Makrana Teacher’s Training College provides include only one programme which is Bachelor of Education (B.ED). This course takes two years and its aim is to train students to become teachers after completion of the course. It has an approved intake capacity of hundred seats in this programme and fulfills many a teacher education aspirants’ dreams each year. This approach of specialisation makes the institution to achieve its goals and objectives of providing quality teacher education.

Makrana Teacher’s Training College uses merit as its criteria for admission, this is by adding the marks the candidate obtained in a specific examination and or entrance examination.
