The oldest institution was Malik Sandal Institute of Art and Architecture, Bijapur (MSIAA). This institution provides quality education in architecture and design. Admission at MSIAA is pretty stringent since they only select the best talent to join their courses. MSIAA is certified by the All India Council for Technical Education and the Council of Architecture, thereby guaranteeing quality education. Admission into the MSIAA typically takes place in the summer months, ahead of the opening of the academic year. These are around August-September months. Qualified candidates who could successfully qualify entrance examinations with respect to the skills and knowledge possessed by a candidate such as aesthetic sensibility, along with drawing ability, and awareness of Mathematics with general aptitude will be considered fit.

M. Arch in Construction Project Management- It too was of 20 intakes of the course. Admission through GATE or PGcet procedure is applied. Whoever Bachelor degree in Architecture and related fields of it are eligible will get inducted.
