Malineni Lakshmaiah College of Pharmacy is an affiliated college that was established in 1999. It is located in Singarayakonda, Andhra Pradesh, which is approved by PCI, offering different programmes under pharmaceutical education. The 35-acre campus of MLCP is continuously shaping the pharmacy professionals for the last two decades. The institute consists of 21 member faculty who are committed to giving quality education in the field of pharmacy. MLCP's 4 courses are spread over 3-degree courses specialising in the field of pharmaceutical sciences with the qualifications at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The college prides itself on strictly providing modern facilities in a favourable atmosphere for learning. MLPC maintains a well-stocked library that acts as the knowledge centre for students and lecturers. The institute is also proud to have modern laboratories to provide first-hand experiences that are relevant in the education of a pharmacist. In addition, the college provides cafeteria and transportation facilities for the convenience of the students and staff. MLCP also has a very good IT infrastructure to update students with the latest technologies in the field. Home accommodations for boys and girls will be provided separately on the college campus to give students coming from out-station a good living environment. MLCP has a wide range of pharmacy courses at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels—4 full-time programmes— together with offerings in D. Pharma, B. Pharma, and M. Pharma in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Analysis. An intake capacity of 168 seats is the only approved strength so far.
The admission process in Malineni Lakshmaiah College of Pharmacy is designed to be fair and open. MLCP accepts scores from Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) for undergraduate admissions and uses the AP PGECET scores as an entrance test for postgraduate courses.
