Mallige College of Pharmacy, located in Bangalore, was founded in 2006 and is one of the leading college in pharmacy education. This affiliated college is situated in Chikkabanavara Post, Silvepura and this is recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Located over a 2 acre area, the institute offers six courses under five degree programmes with focus area in different branches of pharmaceutical sciences. It has a strength of 1355 students and 38 faculty members, 44 % of the students are from the other state and 10% are of the international student.
Mallige College of Pharmacy has a variety of modern day facilities for learning that seek to improve the learning experience of students. It is still a part of academic facilities and consists of 4 sections: book issues, reading, reference and journal, and e-library. Filled with as many books and different titles as possible and has electronic sources like HELINET making students to easily access information. In the college, there physical practical demonstration through first rate laboratories in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutics which are furnished with essential apparatus such as UV spectrophotometers, tablet punching machines, dissolution apparatus and others. The campus also comprises of Pilot Plant to make sure that the students get some kind of exposure to industrial practice. To cater the all round development, Mallige College of Pharmacy includes necessary sports facilities such as large playground for outdoor games, indoor auditorium for games like table tennis, chess etc.
The programmes offered by Mallige College of Pharmacy are a complete set of pharmaceutical education courses. The institute provides 6 course, including 4 full-time programmes. With regards to faculty, the degree programmes include B.Pharma, D.Pharma, Pharm.D, and M.Pharma and in addition, there is a PhD programme in Pharmacology. These course are offered for various levels of the pharmaceutical education, starting from the undergraduate programme to doctoral level. The course of B.Pharma admits 100 students for a batch and D.Pharma has a sanctioned strength of admitting 60 students.
Mallige College of Pharmacy admission procedures are properly planned and organised so as to provide fairness in the selection levels to its various programmes. For the undergraduate programmes such as B.Pharma and D.Pharma, one expects to secure admissions on the basis of the student’s entrance test scores and marks in standard 12th. While admitting the students for the M.Pharma programmes, the GPAT score or a university level entrance test and the academic performance of the candidate in his previous examination may be considered. The Pharm.D programme will be a professional doctorate and may well have its own requirements for admission which might include an examination and an interview. The college encourages students who are in need of financial assistance through scholarships.

Yes, our college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment available here. There are libraries laboratories sports centres available here. Our college also has hostels. The living spaces is clean and the food hygienic.

The kcet cutoff for B.Pharma has not yet published. The Karnataka Examination Authority will release the cut off after the end of the counselling round. The cut off will be different for each course, each category and even for the each round of counselling.
With reference to the previous year cut off general category students should score a minimum of 50% and the SC/ST and OBC category students should score a minimum of 40% to qualify the exam.
On the basis of the merit list prepared by the authority qualified candidates will be shortlisted for the seat allotment and counselling. If you have a good score than the cut off then you will have the chance to choose your branch which you are interested.
