Affiliated college Manasa College of Education, Kothakota was established in the year 2003 is located in Mahabubnagar district of Telangana state. This is a teacher education institution, recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college is located on a 5 acre acre compound, thus providing the best environment for those preparing to be teachers. Evidently, Manasa College of Education admits two hundred students in total and has a team of eight faculty members. The college currently has only one programme, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in its learning portfolio to enhance credible players for the education sector.

Manasa College of Education has a number of learning amenities that are intended to facilitate learning in the institution. This is part of academic facilities and show that library is computerised and surrounded with e-library amenities. It has over 10,000 volumes prospective membership, journals for the nation and periodicals for students together with magazines that have all the information students need. To supports the theory with the practice the college sustains several important laboratories. Among these are; computer and multimedia lab, psychology, technology and science practical labs for practical exposure in support of theoretical knowledge. Sanctity of character is also pursued at the college level: personal contribute a bite eating place, sports use for study, a gymnasium to take proper care of their physical health.

Only the B.Ed programme is offered by Manasa College of Education and it is a full time duration of two years programme. This programme has an approved intake of 100 students which show readiness and capacity of the college to train aspiring teachers each year at an enhanced level. 

Admissions to Manasa College of Education is strictly on merit system – based on the admission policies of the state government, Union Territory administration, and the university to which the college is affiliated. Selections are made according to the percentage one gets in the qualifying exam and/or the entrance test.
