Mandsaur Institute of Ayurved Education and Research situated in Mandsaur M.P. is among the premier ayurvedic education provider institution. This co-educational affiliated college was set up in the year 2009 and it is recognised by CCIM, Central Council for Indian Medicine. Located on a campus of approximately forty acres, the institute presently has only one course, the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). The total number of students that are admitted in this institute is 269 while there are 52  members of faculty, and the institute can thus boast of a competitive student: teacher ratio of 6:1 which means that every student is able to get personal attention as well as quality in their education especially in the filed of Ayurveda.

Mandsaur Institute of Ayurved Education and Research has a variety of well equipped facilities to enhance its academic activities. As part of its rich resources, the centre has a modern library consisting of numerous volumes of classical and modern educational literature, reference books, journals, and periodicals, medical- pharmaceutical journals and publications. The Central Library is a fully automated and computerised library where students and faculties can use internet and LAN Facilities for National & International connections. Every department also has its own sub-library of course materials linked to the master library. The institute has the following departmental facilities: Laboratories that offer practical experience in the knowledge they obtain. For extra curricular activities and programmes it has an auditorium, playground and a basketball court and a.cs. In addition, the campus provides a canteen, a health facility with basic treatment services, different hostels for male and female students.

The Mandsaur Institute of Ayurved Education and Research specialises in the imparting of education in Ayurvedic system of medicine. It currently has only one full-time programme named Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) extended over six academic years. Actually the institute has an approved intake capacity of 100 seats for this programme which clearly shows that they have fixed their priority on the quality of the education to be provided to the students as well as the large number of students who wish to be trained as Ayurvedic Doctors.

Mandsaur Institute of Ayurved Education and Research (MIAER), Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh is one of India's finest institutions in the subject of Ayurvedic education. CCIM grants approval to MIAER and it provides well-balanced Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) training. The major source of entry into MIAER is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, which is a national examination. All applicants who wish to study Ayurveda must pass this examination. The admission process usually aligns with the NEET exam timeline. The prospective students are requested to follow NEET application dates, NEET exam dates, and result announcement date. Application Process

Procedure of application for admission to the BAMS course of Mandsaur Institute of Ayurved Education and Research is as follows:

1. NEET Registration and Examination:

  • Register yourself on the official website of NEET.
  • Give the NEET exam on the given date.
  • Wait for NEET exam result.

2. Registration for Counseling:

  • After the announcement of NEET results, register for counseling as directed by the central or state counseling authority.
  • Enter college and course choices while registering for counseling.

3. Verification of Documents:

  • After being allotted a seat in MIAER, report for document verification at the institute.
  • Submit all the documents required, which normally include:
  • NEET score card
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • Transfer certificate
  • Migration certificate (if necessary)
  • Category certificate (if necessary)
  • Domicile certificate (if necessary)
  • Recent passport-size photographs

4. Fee Payment:

  • After successful document verification, deposit the relevant admission fees as per the institute.

5. Medical Check-up:

  • Undergo a medical check-up as required by the institute to confirm fitness for the BAMS course.

6. Final Admission:

  • After the above, the candidate will be given final admission to the BAMS course in MIAER.

Degree wise Admission Process

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery):

The BAMS course in Mandsaur Institute of Ayurved Education and Research is an integrated six-year course that intends to provide thorough knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine. The course is provided by admission on the basis of the candidate's score in the NEET entrance test. There is a sanctioned strength of 100 seats in the institute for the BAMS course.

Eligibility criteria for admission in BAMS:

1. The candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
2. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCB subjects is usually obligatory (relaxation may be applicable in the case of reserved categories as per government norms).
3. The candidates should have passed the NEET test with an appropriate score.
4. Minimum age for admission will normally be 17 years on December 31st of the year of admission.
