Mangala College of Paramedical Sciences, providing a number of paramedical courses. The College has a merit-based admission policy in accordance with the guidelines specified by the Para Medical Board, Government of Karnataka, and the RGUHS, for the different respective courses. The admission is done after completing the 10+2 level, and academic years begin about August-September.

Diploma courses require a minimum eligibility of 10+2 qualification from any recognized board. The eligibility criteria for candidates to enter any professional bachelor's program is completion of 10+2 with the relevant subjects specified for the course. For master's degree programs, a candidate needs to hold a bachelor's degree in that particular subject.

The college provides diversified courses such as diplomas, bachelors, and masters degrees in different paramedical sciences. The strength of students taken across all programs is 350, whereas in individual programs the intake strength varies from 5 to 80.

Application Process

Degree wise Admission Process

Diploma Programs:

• Mangala College conducts several diploma courses like: Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology, Dialysis Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Ophthalmic Technology, Medical Records Technology, and Health Inspector. For each of them, 20 to 80 intakes are available. Admission into the college is made as per the eligibility condition set by Para Medical Board of Karnataka Government.

Bachelor's Degree Programs:

• The college offers B.Sc programs in Optometry, Anaesthesia Technology, Renal Dialysis Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Imaging Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Hospital Administration, Respiratory Therapy, and Emergency and Trauma Care Technology. Intake varies from 10 to 20 seats per program. Admission is as per the eligibility conditions of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and strictly on merit basis of the previous qualifying examination.

Master's Degree Programs:

• Programs at M.Sc in Renal Science and Dialysis Technology, Optometry, MLT Clinical Biochemistry, MLT Microbiology & Immunology, and MLT Haematology and Blood Transfusion with an intake of 5 seats each, however, must probably abide by the regulations of RGUHS and may well take into account the candidate's performance at bachelor's degree.
