KCET 2025 examination admit card will be available from April 7 to 16, 2025.
MAT 2025 PBT examination was held on March 23, 2025.
About MITE Mangalore
Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering, Mangalore also known as MITE Mangalore was established in the year 2007 by the Rajalakshmi Education Trust. Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University Belgaum, Karnataka (VTU Belagavi).
The courses at MITE Mangalore consist of a total of 21 courses at undergraduate BE/B.Tech, postgraduate M.Tech, MBA & MCA and doctoral Ph.D programmes in the disciplines of Engineering and Architecture, Management and Business Administration, Sciences, and Computer Application & Information Technology.
For admissions to the said courses, MITE Mangalore accepts KCET, Karnataka PGCET, GATE, COMEDK UGET, KMAT and VTU-ETR entrance exams followed by a counselling round. The Placement Cell has placed 425 out of 467 undergraduate and 151 out of 174 postgraduate students. The college has offered a median salary package of Rs 4.60 Lakhs to undergraduate and Rs 5.25 Lakhs to postgraduate students, according to the NIRF Engineering Report 2025.
MITE Mangalore college has also been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The MITE Mangalore infrastructure provides separate hostels, library, canteen, laboratories, transport facilities and many other facilities for its students, faculty members and staff.

MITE Mangalore Admission
Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering Mangalore admissions are provided to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses of the institute. For Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering, Mangalore admissions, candidates have to qualify for an entrance test and proceed with a counselling round.
MITE Mangalore UG admissions to the BE/B.Tech degree courses are done based on the scores of the KCET or COMEDK UGET followed by the COMEDK counselling round. As for MITE PG admissions to M.Tech, MBA and MCA courses, a valid scorecard of the GATE or Karnataka PGCET, and CAT/MAT/KMAT is required followed by a counselling round. Infrastructure is too good. Classrooms are air conditioned and the campus is too good. There are many sports facilities and different grounds for different sports activities. Food is tasty. Canteen is good and air-conditioned. Food court is available and veg mess for localities is provided.

The infrastructure of our college is good and beautiful, providing excellent facilities. Our college is spread over 8 acres of land, with different blocks and neat classrooms. Facilities are available, including a huge playground. The food served in the hostel is decent, and the playground is available for sports like cricket and football.

Firstly, Mangalore Institute of technology and engineering is one of the best colleges in Mangalore and has a very good infrastructure and faculty too. You probably doesn't have many colleges offering Mechatronics in this area and this branch was started recently and new. Eventhough, you'll have a good industrial exposure anf laboratories and placements are also good relatively and they provide good training for getting selected in the companies. Finally, this would be the best option for you and keep it on the top preference.

Hello Harsh,
Both the colleges are good in terms of placement facility, infrastructure and faculty. In chitkara university almost 90% of the student got placement and in manglore institute of technology and engineering 75-80% student got placement. Infrastructure of both the colleges is very good. Overall both the colleges are good.
