Manipal College of Health Professions (MCHP) started in the year 1999 is recognized as one of the constituent colleges of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka. The institute currently provides fifty seven courses in eleven degrees in health professions. MCHP occupies a total land area of 642 acres and 2,195 are the total student registration at the institution. The college has 191 faculty members, so the proportion of students to the number of teachers is quite satisfactory.
Manipal College of Health Professions offers different amenities to cater for the learning needs of the students and their development. The specific services and facilities include a large collection of books, journals, newspapers, reference, audio visual, and electronic resources to support academic learning and research. The other laboratory facilities available to meet the practical learning requirement of each department is well equipped. In terms of IT support for digital learning and research resources, MCHP has loads on offer. It has sports grounds, an academy hall for events and seminars and a gym for the students. In addition, a cafeteria is available to meet the food needs of the entire student body and members of the staff. The college also resides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls student separately for those students who have to and wish to stay at college campus.
Some of the programmes it offers are 58 course across levels of study including Levels 1-8 Honours and Postgraduate Studies. These include regular full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and doctorate programmes and. College has Bachelor’s degree programmes in areas like Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, and many more medical technology subfields.
The admission requirement at MCHP is borne out of merit and tends to differ slightly from one programme to the other. Admission to most undergraduate programmes into universities is done based on the candidate’s results in their classes 10+2, with a focus on the percentages scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).

infrastructure is great but the equipment can be worked upon. Projector is used for presentations and other equipment is also used efficiently. Living spaces and the food is served in a systematic and hygienic manner
Yes my college does have all the up to date and necessary equipments and infrastructures. Classrooms,libraries and all are clean and well maintained which leads to a better atmosphere for learning. The food available are hygiene as well.
