It is part of MAHE and is specifically for Mass communication and media studies. It is a well-equipped institute and has all the required facilities. It has WiFi , library, neat and clean classes to ensure there is no stoppage in students education.
We are taught in different ways so that understanding becomes easier. The teachers are very helpful and always help students and even give special help to students who seems to be struggling in the process.
Placements are something maximum everyone looks for after pursuing any master's degree, and the college doesn't disappoint you here. the college has great reputation which attracts many companies for recruitment and placements.
Good
Amazing
It's very easy to miss from the outside. It looks like a small hut, but that just adds to its charm when you're studying in it. The classrooms are clean, and the computer labs are accessible to everyone at all times. The library has a host of relevant materials, and the infrastructure is quite good. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the food is good too.
I was studying Animation, since that was my interest at the time. The quality of teaching is decent. The faculty are quite nice and hospitable, however the curriculum leaves a bit to be desired. The teaching is geared more towards securing a job than it is towards actual creative expression. The software that we are taught are the industry standards, so no complaints there. And yes, our course does make us job ready.
The placements are okay, albeit a bit unsatisfactory. However, that is more my opinion, and a reflection of the industry than it is of the college. We were given many opportunities to try our hands at the different facets of our industry with more than a few work space tours and internships.
The course was around 2.5 lpa, and was not that great value for money. Again, this might be my opinion since I decided to pursue a field separate from the education I gained in college.
With the right company, Manipal is an experience unlike anything else. The greenery, the weather, the rains, the campus, and the activities around it: top notch!
