Manipal School of Information Sciences is one of the premier constituent colleges of Manipal University began in the year 1998; located in the educational city of Manipal, Karnataka. This is a highly ranked college with a campus area of only 0.75 of an acre and firmly established in information technology. MSIS currently has five postgraduate programmes each under the title of Master of Engineering (ME) to offer for a total of 473 students. It offers seven full time Masters of Engineering programmes that take two years to complete. Such specialised courses are Master of Engineering in VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Besides, in recent years the institute has launched ME programmes in Microelectronics and VLSI Technology, Cyber Security etc., enriching more the prospectus.
