It is a constituent college that started in the year 1995, and is known as Manipur Institute of Management Studies (MIMS), located at Imphal, Manipur . Being a constituent of Manipur University, MIMS has been training young brain for Management and Business Administration for almost three decade. Administration: It provide three postgraduate and doctoral level course such as MBA, Ph.D in Management and PGD in Banking and Finance. MIMS has with the capability of offering concentrated value of management education for our faculty strength of 8 members. The institute is quite conscious about the quality of education that it provides; therefore, it accepts common national entrance tests including CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT, and GMAT etc.

The MIMS hosts separate hostels for male and female students and separate hostels for research scholars and international students as well. The flagship course is MBA which is a two-year program and for which the intake capacity is 63 students. The program leading to the award of the Ph.D. in Management is Takes six years; it offers a chance for advanced research in the field. The youngest of them is a one-year program of PGD in Banking and Finance with 63 students in the intake. These programs are intended to meet a wide range of interest in the management field, starting with a job entry level to a postgraduate level researching and specializing.
