Mannai Rajagopalaswamy Government Arts College, Mannargudi (MRGAC) is the third oldest Arts college founded in the year 1971. This affiliated college is situated in Thiruvarur District, Tamil Nadu and the college is spread over a 40.2 acres land. NAAC has accredited MRGAC for its concern and investment in offering quality education through its accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The college provides a total of 27 courses spread across the nine degrees offered to the total enrolment of 3,187 students. Having a total of 75 members on its faculty, MRGAC has a better student-faculty ratio. This college has nearly equal number of male and female students, 76% of the students are undergraduates while 24% postgraduates and all students are from the state.
