Mannam Memorial NSS College, Kottiyam, a self financing college affiliated with the University of Kerala, was started in the year 1981 in Kottiyam in Kollam district of Kerala. NAAC accredited college, it offers a broad spectrum of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce with B++ Grade. Located in a 21 acre area, the college has students’ turnout of 821 students and the entire teaching staff consisting of 23 members. The college offers 7 courses in 4 degrees that concern to the study areas like English, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Computer Application. At the undergraduate level, females and males are 67% and 33% respectively demonstrating a strong policy on gender parity in enrollment.

Mannam Memorial NSS College  possesses all necessary and adequate facilities for the academic and co-curricular facilities. The campus boasts of a library equipped for learning and research for all the number one sources. Facilities students enjoy include manned laboratories in accord with various disciplinarian specialties to facilitate practical lessons. The college also has well equipped computer section and English Language Lab with Audio Visual Aids for technological and Language Development skills. Mannam Memorial NSS College has a total of 7 courses in total, future 6 are undergraduate and 1 is postgraduate course. The undergraduate courses include the 3 years’ degree courses which are offered under the streams of the BA, B.Sc and B.Com Computer Applications. Postgraduate programme, M.Sc Physics normally takes 2 years. The freshmen intake capacity of the college is now summed up to 222 with the approval of numerous course programmes.
