MIDFT admits students based on merit, particularly so in the B.Tech Dairy Technology program. In the case of this course, the institute prepares a merit list with 60% weight-age to marks obtained in the Theory Papers in PCB/PCM subjects and 40% to the marks obtained in GUJCET/JEE or any entrance test decided by the State Government. GUJCET is the main entrance examination accepted by the institute at the under-graduation level.
