Mar Baselios College, Idukki Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College library is a fully automated resource center with a collection of over 3800 books and subscribes to 5 journals. We purchase 10 magazines to cater to students' interest in nonacademic fields. The library has a spacious reading section with a seating capacity of around 50. Our library purchases 5 different newspapers. To meet the growing demands of various departments in our college, we replenish our resource material very often.

It also provides a high-speed internet facility for the lab and the Wi-Fi-enabled campus. These computers have an updated environment and software packages that fulfill the various computing needs of the students and staff. It supports the regular and scheduled lab activities for BCA, B.Com, and BBA computer batches, class assignments, Library accession, Net surfing .etc. Students can avail of the facilities during the free hours or at intervals. The computer lab has a power backup of 15 KVA power supply in case of electricity failure.

Through a series of seminars and personality-building assignments, the placement cell strives to transform an average student into an extraordinary employee with an excellent work ethic. The placement cell offers sensitization, counseling, and guidance for the students of the college toward the achievement of their career goals. The placement officer is supported by liaison and faculty representatives from all departments.
