This institution was called Mar Ephraem College of Engineering and Technology. MECET Kanyakumari is a new engineering institution rapidly developing in Tamil Nadu. The institution runs several diverse undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in engineering and management. Degree wise Admission Process
B.E. Programs: MECET offers various B.E. programs such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Admissions into these programs will be based on TNEA scores. B.E. programs have a diverse range of approved intake, with 180 for Computer Science and Engineering and 120 for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
M.E. Programs: The M.E. programs offered by the college are Computer Science and Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Applied Electronics. The assumption remains that admissions will be made through TANCET or a similar state-level examination intended for providing the eligibility for entrance into postgraduate engineering courses. Each M.E. program will have an approved strength of 18 students.
MBA Program: The MBA program from MECET accommodates 120 students. Admissions to the MBA program are granted through taking their TANCET score and going through further processes the college decides over.
