The Institute of Environment and Design College of Architecture, Pune, also known as Marathwada Mitra Mandal, involves a relatively young institution in contrast to the one presented above, which started its work only in 2017. This affiliated college is also in Lohegaon, Pune, and has quickly risen to become an important college in the education of architects. Acknowledged by the Council of Architecture and accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), MMIED COA provides a single, specific course in architecture. Marathwada Mitra Mandal's Institute of Environment and Design College of Architecture currently offers two full-time courses: The change can be seen in the Bachelor of Architecture programme usually abbreviated as B.Arch and Diploma in Interior Design. This five-year degree programme has an approved capacity of enrolment of eighty students per year. The syllabus of the B.Arch course has been structured to bring about an all-round session that includes an understanding of architectural concepts, methods of design, and environmental factors. Although the institute is concerned with this particular degree programme, it assures that students are given the adequate knowledge and skill needed for them to land good jobs in architecture.
