MAS Degree College, Pratapgarh: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

MAS Degree College was founded in 2011. It is situated at Shekhpur Ashiq in Kunda, Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. This is an affiliated college in Uttar Pradesh with recognition from UGC under the 4-acre campus grant. The National Council for Teacher Education has given approval as a regulatory body. It has enrolled 908 students and 25 teaching staff, offering 10 courses in 6 degree programmes. MAS Degree College offers a variety of degree programmes in Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, and Teacher Training. 

MAS Degree College also has a range of facilities aimed at broadening the learning experience and general development of the students. MAS Degree College now offers 10 different courses—a mixture of both UG and PG courses. The full-time programme at this degree college has a multi-discipline structure. Undergraduates pursue Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree courses. Postgraduate: The PG courses include MA in subject of Hindi, Education, Home Science and Ancient History, and M.Sc in Physics and Zoology. Besides, the UG and PG college also runs a course in D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) that caters to aspiring teachers.

Admission process for different courses is different in MAS Degree College, Pratapgarh. In most of the courses, admission is done on a merit basis based on marks scored in the qualifying examination. Whereas, D.El.Ed course is done through different mode. Admissions are based on merit as decided by the policy of the State Government/UT Administration, marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination.
