Mass Education Teachers Training Institute is an independent institution designed to train future teachers, which is situated in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. This co-educational school was started in the year 2013 and has been molding teaching professionals for more than a decade. Mass Education Teachers Training Institute provides two full time course in the education field. The B.Ed programme in Tamilnadu, started in 2006- 07, has a sanctioned intake of 100 students for preparing secondary school teachers. Fifty students are admitted to the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course which is for those who wish to teach at the primary stage. Both programmes are two years’ full time and cover a broad range of courses in a methodology and theories of education. The total students enroled with the institute is 150 students and the institute maintains controlled class size to provide quality education. These programmes are policy based to ensure that students are prepared with adequate skills and knowledge to fit the teaching profession.
