MAT College of Education, Shivpuri was started in the year 2008, is one of the most renowned college in imparting the education with a vision of the future. Situated in the Satanwada village on Narwar Road, Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh this college is co-educational and offers a variety of teacher training courses. The backbone of the college, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme that started in the 2005/06 academic year takes 100 students and prepares the students for teaching at the secondary school level. The Master of Education 50 credit M.Ed course is intended for learners seeking promotional positions in education. The second stream is the Diploma in Elementary Education D.El.Ed which has 50 seats also for primary school teachers.
