Mata Kusum Devi Girls College is at Jakhania, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh and a comparatively new college in the area which was set up in 2016. Hence this is a women’s college, which has grown to occupy an important niche in the current college education provisioning system. Currently, Mata Kusum Devi Girls College offers one primary course: The D.El Ed which stands for the Diploma in Elementary Education. This is a two academic year professional course which has an approved enrollment capacity of one hundred students as a result of the college specialisation in producing teachers. The D.El.Ed programme is framed to cater the need of students to prepare them for teaching careers in primary and elementary education. As of now, the college has only one degree program, this specialization can really be effective in molding a batch of highly qualified professionals in the field of elementary education.
