Mata Rani Rumali Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya Maharajganj was established in 2012, which is an affiliated college at Naduwa Bazar Maharajganj Uttar Pradesh. This women’s institution located in a 1 acre area is one of the NCTE approved institutions for teacher education. The college has 5 courses under 3 types of degrees for 340 students and 8 faculty members. 

Mata Rani Rumali Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya has various learning amenities believed to improve the learning process of the students. Health services are offered to the campus community by qualified and professional staff Information and Communication Technology Services are offered to students, staff and faculty and comprises of a store, with a library occupying an area of 3000 sq feet and has in its collection over 17,000 books. This knowledge hub will be able to take 100 students at a time with enough space to enable research and study. It also has a well-equipped computerised laboratory fitted with the latest information processing equipment for the convenience of students. 

There are five courses available at Mata Rani Rumali Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya, and each one is given full-time. These include one undergraduate course (BA), teacher education programme (D.El.Ed) and three postgraduate courses (MA in Home Science, Sociology, Hindi). The course of D.El.Ed is for two years, the sanctioned intake capacity of the course is 100.

 One of the main features of Mata Rani Rumali Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya for admission is to base its admission mainly on merit. In the case of the undergraduate BA programme , those admitted into the programme are usually selected on merit. The MA Home Science, Sociology and Hindi are at postgraduate level and the admission taken on Merit basis only.
