Mata Rani Rumali Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya Maharajganj was established in 2012, which is an affiliated college at Naduwa Bazar Maharajganj Uttar Pradesh. This women’s institution located in a 1.25 acre area is one of the NCTE approved institutions for teacher education. The college has 5 courses under 3 types of degrees for 340 students and 8 faculty members. Focusing on arts and education, the institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses along with a specially offered D.El.Ed course with only 100 sanctioned seats. 

The college has various learning amenities believed to improve the learning process of the students. Health services are offered to the campus community by qualified and professional staff Information and Communication Technology Services are offered to students, staff and faculty and comprises of a store, with a library occupying an area of 3000 sq feet and has in its collection over 17000 books. This knowledge hub will be able to take 100 students at a time with enough space to enable research and study. It also has a well-equipped computerised laboratory fitted with the latest information processing equipment for the convenience of students. The college possesses a spacious multi-purpose hall with a total area of 2000 sq. ft For the extracurriculum activities the college has a multi- purpose hall with an area of 2000 sq.ft for cultural programs, seminars, and competitions. There is provision of sports facilities for the students who want to continue with their exercise regime besides studying . 

Coursed offered by Mata Rani Rumali Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya are five in total and all the courses that offered here are full time. These include one undergraduate course (BA), teacher education program (D.El.ED) and three postgraduate courses ( MA in Home Science, Sociology, Hindi). The course of D.El.Ed is for two years, the sanctioned intake capacity of the course is 100. On the overall intake, although it’s not quantified how many intakes are provided for the other courses, the total number of student enrolled in the college is 340. This diverse course offering of courses accommodates different areas of specialization that the young women may have an interest in, or may wish to pursue in their future careers in this region.

One of the main features of Mata Rani Rumali Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya for admission is to base its admission mainly on merit. In the case of the undergraduate BA program, those admitted into the program are usually selected on merit. The MA Home Science, Sociology and Hindi are at postgraduate level and the admission taken on Merit basis only. The D.El.Ed program as you know has a slightly different procedure. Intake for this course is done competitively by the Pariksha Niyamik Adhikari Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. These are that it ensures only deserving persons are offered this specialized teacher training program.
