Do not apply to seat confirmation for which you need to pay. If you wish to take a drop then go ahead and the process would just stop if it asks to confirm or reject then do reject it and would stop tbereby. Its a matter of no issue, you can carry on with your mind set. Hope you do well. Good luck!
Hi Sonalika,
If you selected float option in the first round in Josaa counseling, again if you want float option in further rounds then there is no need to report at the reporting center. If you want to freeze the allocated seat in round 2 to round 6 then definitely you need to report at the reporting center for freezing that seat. In round 7 it will be frozen automatically. so, if you want float option then there is no necessary to report at the reporting center during round 2 to round 7. If you want to freeze the allocated seat then definitely report at the reporting center during the round 2 to round 6. Hope this answer will help you.
thank you.
Hi Mridul,
The Top 20 percentile of the West Bengal Board is not displayed by JoSSA because it has not yet received the result from the concerned board as of June 26, 2019.
In case, a Board does not provide information about the cutoff of the Top 20 percentile, then the candidate will have to produce a certificate from the respective Board stating that he/she falls within the Top 20 percentile of successful candidates.
If a candidate fails to do so, then cut off marks of the CBSE Board will be used for all the categories i.e. CBSE cut-offs will be used for OTHER Boards.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!!
You may not get electrical with this rank in the josaa rounds. Try for ee in the special rounds in nit like Bhopal, Rajasthan, Andhra pradesh, silchar, Durgapur. You can get mechanical, civil with this rank. Ee probability is very low. You may get ee in nit sikkim, Mizoram and Nagaland in the 8 rounds
Hi Abhishek,
If you got a seat in IIEST shibpur in josaa first round then you have to report at the reporting center. IIEST shibpur comes under the NIT+ system. so you have to report at the following reporting centers. here I will provide the link for the reporting centers list.
https://josaa.nic.in/webinfocms/Handler/FileHandler.ashx?i=File&ii=154&iii=Y
Once you go through this link and check the reporting center which is near to your home town. Then it is easier for you.
thank you.
Hello Avantika,
In josaa councilling, if you will be chosen float option in the first round but you didn't get any seat till the seventh round then automatically your first round accepted seat will be freezed. Then no need to report at the reporting center in the seventh round. if you want to freeze the seat in round 2 to round 6 then again you want to report at the reporting center to freeze your seat. hope this will helps you.
After that take this printout to any registered Doctor (A Legal Physician) and that doctor will do the necessary….
Hello friend, just take the printout of page 53(Annexure 8) from business rules pdf from josaa website. You see at the last of the medical certificate there's registration number that's the registration number(Every Legally Medicine Practicing Doctor has this number) of the doctor that will do Your checkup for this certificate. And the seal has to be of the hospital where he/she works. That seal must be of any government hospital.
All the best!!!
