Don't get confused. For C.B.S.E. board it is either 75% marks or top 20 percentile. So, what JOSAA is showing on their website is the top 20 percentile. Don't worry, if you have scored more than 75% even it is less than 432 you are eligible for admission through JEE.

Based upon your fetched percentile and the respective category rank in the JEE mains you have the chances to get the chances under either Round 3 or under the Round 4. So just keep patience and prepare well with your branch.

sorry to say but you will not get any college (iit) based on your rank and considering last year trends
It is also difficult for you to get preparatory course in iit as there are very less seats for preparatory course in iit.
In nit you can try for some gftis and new iiits

No, the choices below to an allotted seat are never considered in any case. Once you have got a seat, you can only move above in your preference list not below. Float option means that you have accepted the seat you have been given but you will change if a better seat in better college is offered, it does not mean you can go down on your preference list. That is why it is important to correctly optimize your preference list before locking the choices.
Hello there. In most of the cases the mock seat allotment remain same with actual seat allotment. But sometimes the changes might come as some candidates changes their preference at the last moment which might cause a change in the seat allotment otherwise it's same for mock and actual seat allotment

In JOSAA Councelling Process, Candidates have to bring all the original documents required for the verification along with a photocopy at the reporting center. If any candidate fails to attend the verification process, his/ her admission will be cancelled. Candidates are always advised to attend only the reporting centres which are allotted to them.

Josaa counseling is totally online mode . After allotment of seat candidate have to go to the documents verification center for verification of the documents .

I am sorry to tell you but it is not possible for you to get any of the NITs at this rank of yours. Even through SC quota it is slightly possible. All you can do is wait for the CSAB rounds (these are special rounds after JoSAA counselling gets over. You can get a seat as some of the seat are left out in JoSAA) as only through that round you can get into any NIT or IIIT. Also, if you are from CBSE board, then your class 12th minimum percentage should be 65%, for any other board the top 20 percentile criteria holds. Else, go for private institutions.
