Can I get nit surathkal homestate with ews rank 8k civil engineering josaa 2nd and 3rd round cut off is same i.e 6500 (which round can Iget)

If we estimate in accordance to previous year cutoff trends, then you need atleast 2 Rounds of Counselling to get Civil Engineering at NIT Surathkal, even though it is your Home State NIT. Further a gap of 1.5k can fill even within a single round or can take upto as long as 3 rounds of Counselling. So keep high positive hopes. You'll get it.

I got surathkal civil in first 3 rounds of josaa if i wait till 7 th round then seat may not change then if i cancel my fees refund or not

Hi

THere is a last date for withdrawal of seat, if you want to get the refund fees. If you fill the form for withdrawal before the 6th round, you will be get full refund, with a small processing charges. But if you continue in the 7th round, then you cannot withdraw the seat and shall be entitled for no refund.

In which round of Josaa counselling will the allotment of seats of preparatory courses start? Or has the prep course seat allotment started?

Dear student, the allottment of preparatory courses for SC/ST/PWD candidates begins from the fourth round of Josaa counselling. The fourth round's result is scheduled to be released on July 9, 2019 at 5:00pm. The subsequent rounds will also have the allottment of preparatory seats till they are available.

Congratulation for getting your expected college in first round of josaa .
Yes you can join college between 19 to 23 but it will depends on the college you are taking admission as in nit bhopal the college starts from 25 of july for the freshers but in iit bombay the college is starting from 19 itself ..

In which round could i get in josaa Councelling. My percentile is 74.93 and an ST rank 5757. I applied for NITs in assam itself.

Yes you can definitely get admission into nits of assam .
According to your rank of 5757 you can get seat in your applied nit within 5 round as nits are one of the most sought after college in feild of engineering so they have high cutoffs for the candidates to get admission so it might go upto round 5.

It will just depend on your preferrence order which you had filled during choice filling you might even get admission into any college in first round or you might wont get any college till round 7 it will all depend on the college and the branch you had option for during josaa councelling process.

Hello everyone.I first option in official website of josaa counselling "View seat allotment result of Round 3" says wait till the next round

You can know about the seat you have been alloted in every round of JOSAA counselling when you log in to the JOSAA page. If you have not been alloted any seat upto third round then you have to continue with the counselling and hope that you will get a seat in near future. Once you have filled the list there is no way to edit the choice list so if you have filled institutes which do not have a probability to give admission at your rank then you won't be able to get a seat.

What do I need to do to freeze my currently floated seat in Josaa counselling?

Hello,

If you want to freeze a floated seat in the middle of the counselling process before all the rounds are completed, then you will have to report to the reporting centre again to freeze the seat.

Otherwise, the seat which you will get after the last round of counselling will be freezed automatically and you will just have to report at the admitting institute.

NOTE : Candidates have to report every time at the reporting center when they want to change the option from float to slide or from float to freeze.

If you already paid seat acceptance fee in the josaa first round then there is no need to pay again in third round. If you to freeze your allotted seat in third round then you want to report at the reporting centre. Otherwise don't need. Hope it helps for you.
