Matoshri College of Education is a pioneer Institution situated at Nashik (Maharashtra) which was formed in the year 2014. NHCC is affiliated to this college which is situated on Nashik Aurangabad Highway,; The college occupies a vast area of 55.7 acres giving sufficient space for learning. One of the few co-educational establishments to have won the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the institute embraces the existence of both the male and female students. The college has a total of 198 students and 19 faculties insuring every student gets a personal attention and the best quality education. Today the college provides only one bachelor’s programme, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), thereby emphasising its core mission of training teachers.

Matoshri College of Education offers its premier programme in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), that is a full time course of two years. This programme has an approved enrolment capacity of one hundred which demonstrates the institute’s ability to train many future employees in the teaching fraternity. The B.Ed course has been structured in a way that ensure the learner acquire the appropriate academic content, skill, and pedagogy knowledge as well as teaching practice to enable him or her practice as a teacher. The annual fees for this programme are around INR 35,582 enabling quality education to the budding teachers possible. 

At Matoshri College of Education admission into any of the courses is usually on merit system as guided by the state government and the university where the college is affiliated to. The candidate is offered admission on the basis if Marks scored in the Qualifying Examination and /or Enterance Examination.
