Matoshri Institute of Pharmacy, Dhanore was established in the year 2004 as a self-financed institution. The college currently offers two courses in the field of pharmacy - Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). The courses offered by the institute are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college is affiliated to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere.The institute is approved by the Directorate of Technical Education Mumbai as well.

Talking about the infrastructure of Matoshri Institute of Pharmacy, Dhanore, the institute has spacious classrooms. The college has well equipped laboratories that aid in imparting practical knowledge to students. MIP Dhanore has separate hostels for boys and girls with a capacity of 200 students each.
