MATS School of Library Science, Raipur is a post graduate institute focused purely on the science of Library and Information Science. This is a school for learning established in Raipur Chhattisgarh and falls under the MATS University system.  Due to a strength of three teachers and one faculty member the School of Library Science in MATS offers individual attention to all its students.

MATS School of Library Science has a number of amenities that are aimed to provide the student’s with an encryption of the education process. A well stocked library remains the central focus of institution, and contains a wide range of books, journals and theses. Established in 2008, the library has expanded to cover two campuses and offers about 110 international and national journals. The specific courses offered in the interest of library and information science in MATS School of Library Science are basically three courses. For the more academic oriented individuals there is a Ph.D. programme in Library and Information Science which usually takes six years to complete. These programmes are intended to provide the students with skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the ever changing environment of library and information management.
