Maulana Azad National Urdu University Polytechnic (MANUU) is a constituent college in Hyderabad and was founded in 2008. This is an AICTE approved institution providing diploma courses in various disciplines of engineering. Located on a land measuring 3 acres, this polytechnic has an aggregate student population of 469 and faculty of 27 members. The institute offers four diploma courses of duration of three years each in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Information Technology. The need for technical education in India and especially in MANUU Polytechnic requires the production of qualified technicians to meet the labour market demand.

The polytechnic provides students with quite a lot of facility that can help them in their academic or personal development. The college library was also established at the time the institute was started in 2008 and acts as the central facility for materials for both faculty and students. Covering an area of 5,877.37sq, the library implemented Open Access System and the use KOHA Software for correct automation and Operational Propergative Access Catalogue services. MANUU also have well developed Information Technology facility and other well equipped laboratory for every department so that students has practical experiences.The campus has a guest house, health centre complete with first aid, and hostels for boys and girls separately. Most of these facilities help to improve the learning environment and foster the appropriate development of students.

In total, MANUU Polytechnic has four full time diploma programmes and all the programmes are regular programmes.
