The college was established in 2011. MCOET, Shegaon is a private university affiliated to  Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. The college offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. MCOET, Shegaon UG courses include BE Civil Engineering, BE Computer Science and Engineering, BE Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, BE Information Technology, BE Electronics and Power Engineering, BE Mechanical Engineering. 

For MCOET, Shegaon UG admissions candidates must have passed class 12th with at least 50% marks from a recognised board also valid score in JEE Mains and MHT CET conducted by NTA and Maharashtra Board of Professional Entrance Examination respectively. All the courses are offered in full time mode only. The college also provides Postgraduate courses to the students. MCOET, Shegaon PG courses include ME Electrical Power System and ME Digital Electronics. 

MCOET, Shegaon PG admissions are offered to candidates who must hold a BE Degree irrespective of the subject, from a recognised board. The college also offers various facilities to the students.
