Maya Institute of Education and Training, Hathras, was set up in the year 2012 and offer co-educational facility in Uttar Pradesh, India. This affiliated college recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education and is having a special focus in teacher education programmes. Situated in Mendu Road Sokhna, Hathras, the institute offers two full-time courses and they are  Bachelors in Education (B.Ed.), and Diploma for Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). Maya Institute has associated itself with 5 member faculty and is dedicated the mould the fresh talents into fine educators. 

Accompanying the prestigious institute is a range of learning amenities and capabilities that aim to improve the resulting quality of its learners. There is playing area for both outdoor and indoor games which has been planned systematically to develop team spirit and leadership qualities in the students. Maya Institute of Education and Training boasts of a strong Information Technology with a computer laboratory which helps the students in enabling various technologies. To accommodate these programmes, the institute provides both training and tutorial based department laboratories to assure active research and development. At the centre of this institute is the library which contains approximately fifteen thousand books, including encyclopedia and other reference books both from Indian and other authors, journals, research publications and practical hand books. There is a large library which can occupy one hundred students at one time, and they can study in an ideal environment. 

This management institute offers two programmes in the field of education through Maya Institute of Education and Training. B.Ed programme is a two-year full-time programme having an approved intake capacity of one hundred (100) students. The second is to introduce the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), a two-years full time programme for which the college can admit up to fifty students. All the courses in both programmes are aimed at preparing student with knowledge and skills needed for teaching profession. By focusing on these two specific programmes, the institute is able to put far more of the effort into developing quality educators. 

Admission to Maya Institute of Education and Training is made according to the rules and regulations prescribed by the State Government, U.T. Administration and the University to which the Institute is affiliated. Admission exclusively on merit basis for the B.Ed programme, depending on mark obtained in the qualifying examinations also known as entrance examination. The institute may also use other techniques of recruitment in line with the existing policies. However, it needs noting that even after completion of the B.Ed programme, the candidates have to clear some more examinations to get an employment in government school like Kendriya Vidyalayas or Sarvodaya Vidyalayas – Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), for instance.
