Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering: This is one of the most popular courses at MEC Hyderabad, with an approved intake of 270 seats. Admission to this course is on the basis of the performance of the candidate in JEE Main, followed by a counseling and branch allotment session organized by the Engineering Common Seat Allocation (ECSE) process.
B.Tech Artificial Intelligence: The approved intake is 210 seats, and the program provides specialization in the fast-evolving area of AI. The admission process is the same as that of other B.Tech programs, with the candidates needing to qualify JEE Main and undergo the ECSE counseling process.
B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering: The approved intake for this program is 60 seats. The applicants have to qualify JEE Main and attend the ECSE counseling and branch allocation session to get admission.
B.Tech Mechanical Engineering: The approved intake for this program is 30 seats. This program uses the same admission process as all other B.Tech courses in MEC Hyderabad.
B.Tech Civil Engineering: The course also carries an approved intake of 30 seats. It is offered through JEE Main performance and counseling thereafter by ECSE.
B.Tech Computation and Mathematics: This novel course also carries an approved intake of 30 seats. Admission continues to be in line with other B.Tech courses offered by the institute.
