Medarametla Anjamma Mastan Rao College of Education is a forerunning institution in the field of teacher education, located at Kesanupalli, Narasarao Pet Mandal, in Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh. It was started in the year 2007 as a Co-education college with the objective of grooming future teachers. The college has completed more than one decade of service in this noble profession. The institute is locally university-affiliated and NCTE-approved, thereby abiding by the benchmarks of quality in teacher training. The institution provides an ideal learning environment for prospective teachers by admitting a total of 294 students across its various programmes.

The various programmes on its lineup include the B.Ed, or Bachelor of Education; D.El.Ed, or Elementary Education; and M.Ed, or Master of Education.Courses have been so structured as to address students at different stages in their teaching careers, from the fresh entrant to the more experienced practicing educator who wishes to upgrade his qualification. The total intake of students in all courses is 250, of which there are 100 seats each for B.Ed and D.El.Ed, and 50 for M.Ed. 

The Institute admission process of Medarametla Anjamma Mastan Rao College of Education will be based on merit and will be comprehensive in all respects. The admission to the B.Ed programme is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance examination or any other selection process prescribed by the policy of the State Government/University. The D.El.Ed course requires admission to the college based on marks in the qualifying examination and entrance examination, in accordance with the directions issued by the state government/UT administration.
