Meera College of Education came into existence in the year 2009; Sardulgarh Punjab is an affiliated college. A Buddhist religious establishment recognised by the government, the Institute is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offers a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme. The college is located on a small area of 1 acres; the sanctioned enrolment each year is 108 students, and the college has 8 faculty members. As a co-educational institution, Meera College of Education has both male and female students to make the educational environment diverse.

This college has the desirable facility in order to improve the learning environment for students. Meera College of Education currently offers one full-time course: the B. Ed. programme Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) stream. It is estimated that it is a two-year programme with an approved student capacity of 100 students and emphasises teacher training. The concept of a B.Ed. course makes students prepare for teaching professions by imparting them teaching skills and knowledge.

The admission procedure of Meera College of Education involves an entrance test for which students need to submit their marks in the qualifying examination.
